Dual Rectifier: Classic Rock 2

Here’s an example of the way I’m setting my amp lately.  It utilizes what I’ve learned about the Clean circuit, FX Send, Solo, and other things.

What is important to realize is the FX Send needs to be high and the Channel Volumes set low to emulate the function of the amp when the FX Loop is bypassed.

Another important note is to use the Clean EQ as a shaping tool for the Gain control.  The Clean channel filters distortion late in the circuit.  This method of construction can sound dull, but the Treble will overcome it.  The Presence is then used to fine tune the upper frequencies in the sound.

I hope this is helpful.  Good luck to you.
